1. Introductoin of article
The article approached with analyzing collaboration in games. The main writing material of this article is the board game; "Load of the Ring". The authors researched collaborative mechanism. Many games have this system. However this game has a transparency. This transparency makes them more accessible for in-depth analysis.
1) Designing collaborative games
- To avoid the game degenerating into one player making the decisions for the team, collaborative games have to provide a sufficient rationale for collaboration.
- For a game to be engaging, players need to care about the outcome and that outcome should have a satisfying result.
- For a collaborative game to be enjoyable multiple time, the experience needs to be different each time and the presented challenge needs to evolve.

- Games have a unique potential to engage people in collaborative activities.
- Computer games not only have the potential for addressing many of the issues discussed but also many affordances to solve them.
